About World Reach
Church Planting
Phase Two: Continue phase one while discipling new believers through "grow groups," Bible studies and correspondence courses. Select key leaders and initiate training seminars on effective evangelism and discipling techniques.
Phase Four: Continue phases one, two and three plus assistance in building construction, leadership counsel and nurturing of the church.
Once a church has been planted, the Pastor is carefully selected, along with a Board, to assist in governing the church in its outreach. No particular denomination is followed; rather, the choice is left to the Pastoral staff and congregation who must embrace the same doctrinal position as World Reach. Nationals would assume leadership with assistance from the missionary as long as necessary until the church becomes completely indigenous. The church is expected to ultimately become self-sufficient.
When our risen Lord issued what has been called His 'audacious commission,' He said, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel.....' This is what World Reach is all about. I heartily commend the leaders and workers involved. They deserve our fervent prayers and faithful support.
