In August, I traveled to New Guinea, Nicaragua to make arrangements for our first medical team to that country. World Reach has conducted many medical trips in the past to other countries served by the mission, but this is a first for our Nicaraguan ministry.
As I traveled throughout this region, I met pastors whose churches will host the different sites for the upcoming October medical trip. All but one of these pastors are graduates of our Bible Institutes in New Guinea. (Our other Nicaraguan Bible Institute is in Managua.)
E. M. Bounds said, “The church is looking for better methods, God is looking for better men.” Join us in giving thanks to the Lord for all He is doing in Nicaragua in “Building Men” for Kingdom Work!
Please also pray with us for the details of the upcoming medical trip.

Pastor Miguel – what a giant for God! A Bible Institute graduate, 80 years young, never married, pastored 12 churches over a 50 year ministry career and stood strong during the civil war between the Contras and the Sandinistas! Now retired, Miguel continues to be an inspiration to all!

Pastor Magdiel (center) and two of his deacons. Alan (right) is a Bible Institute graduate and Magdiel’s brother.

Pastor Enbarto’s church is in a community with more than 8,000 people. His church has a strong youth group that is developing a real heart for God!
