This Friday, I will be heading to Cordoba, Argentina, to teach a series themed “Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth” at the World Reach Bible Institute in the area! The series will focus on becoming an “Approved Workman of God,” and observing, seeking, and teaching God’s Word. The teachings are based around two verses, 2 Timothy 2:15 and Ezra 7:10. I will be teaching at the World Reach Bible Institute in Cordoba, which is in its third class, and I’ll join the rest of the instructors in helping students from all around Argentina to gain a more in-depth knowledge of the Bible, assist their churches in properly following the Word, and plant new churches around Argentina.
The Bible Institute in Cordoba focuses on pastoral training, and its curriculum consists of three years of study. This curriculum uses preliminary courses to focus on the spiritual and family life of the students, as well as the study of the book of Romans, and the study of Pneumatology. Then its core curriculum consists of instruction in counseling, study of the book of Timothy, Hermeneutics, as well as other subjects. The Institute is run by World Reach missionary Andrés Acosta, who also focuses on relationship-building with churches in the area and evangelism. I am so excited for this opportunity to help in the instruction of these developing pastors in Argentina, and I hope that my teaching will encourage them and help prepare them to be better leaders for the Christian faith in Argentina!
