Financial Statement

World Reach acknowledges that God is the ultimate provider of all of the resources necessary to conduct the work of ministry.  Moreover, God calls us to be good stewards of the resources that He entrusts to us.

World Reach is a “faith” ministry, trusting God to provide the financial resources necessary to do the work of ministry.  All team members are responsible for raising their own financial support to sustain their public ministry and private lives.   The exceptions are the Board of Directors, who serve with no compensation; International Headquarters staff, who are paid from the Mission’s general operating funds; and volunteers who are unpaid.

Financial support may come from a variety of sources.  However, a missionary or team member’s home church should have a goal of meeting a significant part of the missionary or team member’s total monthly financial support.  World Reach requires that each missionary, whether short-term or career, raise 100% of the approved support schedule for monthly and outgoing expenses before departing to the field.

World Reach assesses a 12% administrative fee on all monetary contributions. The administrative fee helps cover costs incurred by the International Headquarters to promote the general welfare of the Mission.

World Reach does not ask, expect or encourage contributors to incur debt when making contributions to World Reach.  Also, we encourage all contributors to give their tithe to their local church.

World Reach is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.   As such, contributions made for the ministries of World Reach are tax-deductible.  By law, the authority to issue tax-deductible receipts rests with World Reach and not the individual missionary or team member.  All donations received by World Reach are non-refundable and under the control and discretion of World Reach and will be used to carry out the World Reach mission.  World Reach accepts donations subject to donor designations for specific ministries or projects.  However, in accordance with IRS requirements, donations are given and belong fully to World Reach and are under World Reach’s control and discretion.

World Reach is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability or ECFA for the purpose of ministry and financial accountability.  ECFA members are held to the highest standards of integrity in finances, message, relationships, and moral standards.

World Reach is audited annually by an independent certified public accounting firm.

What Others Are Saying

“When our risen Lord issued what has been called His ‘audacious commission,’ He said, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel…’ This is what World Reach is all about. I heartily commend the leaders and workers involved. They deserve our fervent prayers and faithful support.”
