In October of 2016, Abner and Alisson Mejia officially joined the World Reach – Honduras Staff as career missionaries. Abner and Alisson come from a strong ministry background, both ministering through youth leadership. Abner has also served as a deacon, a radio announcer, a radio operator, and then serving as an associate pastor. Alisson has served on the worship team as a vocalist and flutist, and has also used her work as a Doctor of Dental Surgery to minister to her patients and their families.
Abner and Alisson Mejia participate in theological education through the World Reach’s Bible Institutes and online programs. Additionally, they envision dedicating themselves to Christian education through mobile libraries and clubs for children and youth. Alisson will make a particular investment in dental care through a mobile clinic. And we will assist the local church through teaching and preaching.
