January 2022: A new chapter of ministry!
With great excitement and anticipation, I can announce that the Board of Directors of World Reach has appointed me to begin training this year to become the CEO of World Reach in January 2023. I will spend this year working alongside the current director Tim Prewitt to learn more about the “inner workings” of the ministry. Tim and I will visit all our fields of service this year to facilitate the transition, and he will remain on as a consultant after the formal transition occurs. The ministry of World Reach is 40 years old, and we look forward to seeing what God has ahead for us.
Since I became engaged in international missions with World Reach in 1994, my commitment to the mission has a long history in different fields. I am looking forward to expanding my influence and service to almost one hundred missionaries and staff in twelve countries. For the last 10 years, I have been focused on Latin America and have had the blessing of raising up our new team in Colombia. The Lord has His plans for us, and I need your prayers for wisdom, direction, and strength for the days ahead. May the Lord grant us unity in Him so we may all labor together to build His kingdom because our work is not finished!
I will be traveling to Colombia Jan 24-28 to meet with our Colombian team for a time of encouragement, prayer, and planning for the new year. Please pray for a fruitful time with the team and the covid complicated travel details.
