The theological seminary has graduated four classes of pastors, each one through the three and a half year training process. A total of 96 pastors have completed the curriculum. It was decided after the second class graduated that an in-depth survey would be conducted targeting pastors who have graduated, and their church memberships regarding the effectiveness of the curriculum and training process. This survey began in March 2009 and was completed in April 2010. Pastors and members from 34 participating churches took part in the study. The purpose for the survey was to assist the training efforts in Kenya, as well as at other World Reach training sites in Latin America and Eastern Europe. The survey produced excellent results in which the graduated students were unanimously in agreement that the studies provided by World Reach were excellent. The only recommendation by the students was to incorporate more courses in the class schedule. The church members were in agreement that their pastors had significantly increased in their ability to preach and teach God’s Word. The third class began in February 2011 and recently graduated April 2014. Class #3 increased in number of courses conducted from 15 to 18. The fourth class graduated June 2017. This class was unique in that 12 of the pastoral graduates from the first three classes were provided graduate training in teaching principles and techniques. The course they received, Equipping Teachers to Teach, consisted of 40 hours of intensive added training in teaching methods, including 20 hours of student practicum teaching. During Class #5 they will teach even more to further help prepare them to assume the full teaching role at this seminary site.
