Juan Marcos and Raquel Jean

After serving in El Salvador for 16 years, they moved to Birmingham, AL to serve in the World Reach headquarters as a liaison between the home office and the Hispanic, Spanish speaking missionaries serving with World Reach all over the world.  Over the past 6 years, their ministry has become more effective both with the Spanish speaking missionaries on the field, as well as with providing translation in the office. Their central vision is to offer ministry support, missionary care, and friendship to Spanish speaking co-workers around the world and to help with communication between the office and the field. The Spanish language and Latin American cultural experience acquired while serving on the field has proven to be quite valuable as they are serving with World Reach from Birmingham.

Juan also teaches in various World Reach Bible Institute classes around Latin America and is involved in Church Revitalization among churches in Argentina. Raquel teaches women’s Bible studies when traveling to Argentina and also disciples face-to-face and through Skype. They travel as much as possible to World Reach locations, especially when a co-worker on the field requests their support.
