World Reach

Donation FAQs

Are gifts to World Reach tax-deductible?

Yes, contributions for the ministries of World Reach are tax-deductible because World Reach is recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. Gifts are non-refundable and are used to carry out the World Reach mission.

Can I preference my gift for a specific missionary or project?

Yes, you can express your preference for supporting a missionary or project of World Reach. Gifts to support the ministry of a specific missionary are not gifts to or for the individual but to World Reach for its ministries.

Wwill endeavor to use the funds as you suggest but may use the gift for another similar purpose from time to time. In accordance with IRS requirements, donations are given and belong fully to World Reach and are under World Reach’s control and discretion to be used for our tax exempt purposes. In the unlikely event that a missionary, ministry, or project is over-funded or is not able to be carried out, World Reach will redirect the funds to a similar purpose.

Are gifts refundable?

No. We are recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization by the Internal Revenue Service, and donations are non-refundable and under the complete control and discretion of World Reach and will be used to carry out the World Reach mission.

How are year-end gifts processed?

The IRS requires that we credit your donation based on either the post-marked date, if by postal mail, or the date of your electronic transaction.

What is your administrative fee?

Our Board-approved policy is to assess a 12% administrative fee on all gifts to World Reach to help cover administrative overhead costs and to promote the general welfare of the Mission.
