Ministry
We are gifted in preaching and teaching and are always open to ministering the Word. Whether it is in Bible schools, churches, groups, or individual meetings. A priority for us has always been preaching and teaching in local churches. Together, we are also working with the visually impaired community of Albania by having personal meetings for evangelism, teaching, and providing assistance them. Through the years, it seems we also have the gift of hospitality as we help, invite, and meet people where they are.
Testimony
Thomas: As a young boy, I remember listening to the story about the death and resurrection of Jesus. I came home and asked my father, “Why did Jesus have to die?” He said that Jesus died for my sins. I understood and got on my knees and called upon the name of the Lord. I know my age seems young for many, but Jesus said, “whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” Though tested and expanded, the faith of my childhood self is still what keeps me.
Lorinda: I grew up in a Bible believing home where the Gospel was taught and the Bible read daily to me. I repented and trusted in the Lord as a young child.
About Us
What are some of your hobbies?
Thomas: I am a person with varied interests and they have changed from season to season of my life. A broad, eclectic base of knowledge has always helped me relate to people, both from the pulpit and in individual discussions. A lot of my interests are tied with ministry, like learning photography or learning the guitar to lead music in ministry. I am computer person, which helps with things like printing Albanian braille for the blind. Beyond that, I like to read about the Bible, about history, about aviation, and about different countries. Reading the literature of Russia, Ukraine, or Albania is a privilege for me and a help for me in understanding the people and their culture.
Lorinda: I enjoy art and taking care of my plants and flowers that are growing on our balcony. I also love to take road trips to see the natural beauty that’s at every turn of the winding mountainous roads of Albania.
Favorite Scripture
Thomas: “For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God..” ~ 1 John 5:4-5
Lorinda: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.” ~ Proverbs 3:5,6
