Children live in the orphanage during their “standard” school years, which is equivalent to United States grades 1-8. Upon completion of standard school, students are placed in either “form” school (equivalent to United States high school) or “trade/vocational” school. Both form school and trade/vocational school are boarding schools. The orphanage covers the students’ boarding costs at these schools. 12 children are currently being provided for through the orphanage; however, we have the capacity to care for up to 36 children.
The orphanage has been giving Kenyan children hope and opportunity since 1987. It is funded solely by personal contributions of various supporters.
“When our risen Lord issued what has been called His ‘audacious commission,’ He said, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel…’ This is what World Reach is all about. I heartily commend the leaders and workers involved. They deserve our fervent prayers and faithful support.”
